He personally published in Milwaukee, the German language, biweekly Jewish-American newspaper "DER ZEITGEIST" ("Spirit of the Age"). An entire bound year of all 26 issues Nos. 1 through 26 of "Vol. 2" Jan. 5 through Dec. 22, 1881. Total 420 pages (approx 16 pages per issue 9 ½ x14); includes many advertisements by Jewish merchants in dual English-German. Although paper short-lived (just 1880-1883) Moses did publish many other Jewish works; it was his manuscript which was the basis for famous "Union Prayer Book." Normal aging, some faint damp staining; sound and not showing wear. Exc. with original index of all issues. Original binding intact; thick marbled board covers only are loose.
