bold headline in old English style typeface on June, 1878 dated, single sheet (8 x 10) broadside (blank reverse). Similar above (also for Cong. Mickve Israel of Phila., but note its dissimilar headline) advertising various categories of synagogue seats available for purchase or rental for the "years 5639, 5640 and '41" in both the "UP STAIRS" and "DOWN STAIRS" sections and dates of auction for those seats as yet "unpurchased." Notation at bottom advising that "Israelites residing in Philadelphia invited to become seat-holders." Just lightest aging; exc.+. Rare; unlisted in Singerman.
