Manuscript Document Signed, “Wm. H. Founey” 1p. folio, April 15, 1858, Calhoun County, Alabama, and reads “ For and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand & twenty five dollars to me in hand paid by James G. Harrision of Lincoln County Tennessee the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged I this day sell, transfer & assign over to said Harrision his heirs & assigns all the right title interest & claim which I have in & to a negro boy named Isham which I purchased at Sheriff sale on the 1st Monday in January 1858 - which said negro was sold as the property of James F. Stokes, I now sell to said Harrision all the right title which I obtained by virtue of said purchase...” With Autograph Note Signed “James G. Harrison” April 26, 1858, on verso of the document, in which Harrison transfer the title of Isham to Mrs. F.E. Stokes. VG.
