Ku Klux Klan Document, 1p. quarto, with fine Klan imprint at top left, February 8, 1923, addressed to “All Genii, Grand Dragons and Hydras, Great Titans and Furies, Giants, Exalted Cyclops and Terrors, and to All Citizens of the Invisible Empire, in the Name of the Valiant and Venerated Dead, I Affectionately Greet You: I proclaim that under the authority and with the power in me vested by the Constitution and Laws of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, I decree that: - Hereafter, three negative votes shall be sufficient to reject an applicant from admission to the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in a chartered Klan. This to be true, even if all other requirements have been complied with. Of this decree take due notice and see that it is read in Klonklave in accordance with the Constitution and that it comes to the knowledge of every Klansman. This decree is issued in order to make clear what the requirements are for the rejection of applicant in subordiante Klans of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
