Law note book kept by John B. Robertson of Virginia, 61p. pocketsize, 1857-1861, with several references to slaves, including the slaves of Jno. Weire, a case involving the Higgnbottoms and a slave girl sold to a “southr. trader” and tohers, as well as a case involving “T.S. Stabler Jr. Company A, 11th Regt. Col. Garland’s Commd. Manassas Junction, and a full page of expenses billed to the “Confederate States” and paid by “Capt. Henley.” Interesting. VG.
