War-date ConfederateManuscript Document Signed, “E.C. Barthelemy” 1p. quarto, Head Quarters 18th Regt. La. Vols, Camp near Montery, Tennesse, Mach 6, 1862, addressed to Capt. R.M. Hooe at Corinth, it reads in part “The colonel respectfully asks that the camp and garrisson equipage to his regiment, left at Corinth be forwarded to him as soon as practicable. The nature of the duties to be performed by his command being very arduous and the men for duty being much diminished by the number of sick he respectfully requessts that Capt. Lastrapes Company be ordered to join his command ...” VG.
