Lee" it reads "Furloughed soldiers going south can not proceed via Danville and Greensboro for ten (10) days as the rains have broken the roads. They will be obliged to march Petersburg to Bellfield on the Weldon Rail Road and take the cars at that point…" Signed as "Official" by A.A.G. “G. Peyton." Addressed to Colonel Robert Forsyth, Comdg. Brigade. Fine.
