SHEPPARD, William Ludwell (1833 - 1912), former Confederate soldier, enlisted on 11/1/1862 at Johnson County , into "F" Co. NC 7th Battn Cavalry. Professional artwork on paste board, 9” x 11,”Uncle Mose and Rastus theme, corners trimmed else very good. The artwork is signed in the background, “WLS,” and depicts a conversation between Mose and Rastus, standing in front of a stadium, regarding using Rastus’ head as a football.
