A nicely tinted group of five scenes of New York City during the Civil War published in D. T. Valentine's 1862 and 1864 manuals, measuring approx. 8vo. each scene is finely executed and printed by lithographers Sarony, Major & Knapp, NYC. Scenes include: Interior of the State Arsenal 57th St. Occupied by the 7th N. Y. V (Stueben Regt.) 1861; State Arsenal in Central Park Troops Leaving for War; View of the N. Y. State Soldier's Depot; Soldier's Depot-Receiving Room and Soldier's Depot-Was & Bath Room. Very minor soiling, else very good.
