Lettersheet, 4p. quarto, with printed words on page one to “The Rebel Raid in Pennsylvania, or That’s Just So.” by James Gay of Philadelphia. The song has 12 stanzas, all very critical of Gen. Robert E. Lee. For example, “Oh, there is Lee that scroundrel of a man / That stole the arms he could from Uncle Sam / And then to get his rations, why he had to make a raid / And take it from the farmers without a cent of pay.” Copyright 1863, Fine.
