Artillery” , 1p. quarto, May 13, 1866, Natchez, Mississippi, with paymaster stamp at top recording payment, this discharge reads in part: “...Know ye, That Hampsher McCoy a Private of Captain Harbert Harberts Company (I) Sixth Regiment of USC Artillery Heavy Volunteers, who was enlisted on the Eight day of December one thousand eight hundred and Sixty three to serve three years or during the war, is hereby discharged....” File holes, else VG.
