Large photograph signed and inscribed and signed by former President Harry Truman to actor Jack Lord. The inscription reads “Kindest regards & best wishes to Marie & Jack Lord from Harry S. Truman 8-27-64”. Jack Lord was the star (Steve McGarrett) of the popular police television show based on crime and mayhem in Hawaii. The piece, which measures an overall size of 18” X 21” framed, pictures a smiling Harry Truman and Jack Lord. A wonderful signed photograph in excellent condition. Comes from Lord’s estate which was sold in March 2007...”Book em’ Dano”!
