A fine war-date partly-printed Union D. S., 1p. oblong folio, Falmouth, Va., May 13, 1863 being a muster roll for 1st Lieutenant John H. Murray of company M, 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteers. Signed by the regiment's Colonel JAMES C. HULL who enlisted on July 4, 1861 and was mortally wounded during the savage fighting during the battle of Spotsylvania on May 8, 1864 and who died nearly two weeks later on May 22, 1864. VG.
