Autograph Letter Signed, "Francis A. Walker", 1-1/4p. octavo, September 11, 1874, and reads: "I have no claim to be regarded as a 'literary' man, and my autograph can therefore have no place in your album. Should you at any time make a collection of the autographs of staticians, I will accept a moded corner therein..." Light mounting residue, else about VG.
