Printed 8 x 12 official U.S. Gov't Customs form for "District of Phila." with Hyneman's name entered at top as "Inspector" and with his autograph signature as "Inspector" at bottom. Oct. 1, 1840 dated, long list for itemizing his personal "Services as Inspector of Customs" for the three months ending Oct. 1 with various vessels named. He is believed the uncle of Elias L. Hyneman who served valiantly with the 5th Penna. Cavalry in Civil War through many battles including Gettysburg; captured following Battle of the Wilderness and P.O.W. at the infamous Andersonville, Georgia C.S. prison where he died.
