Autograph Letter, Gloucester, June 24, 1745, 4pp., 6-1/2" x 8," fine. A pencil notation identifies the writer as Martin Benson, Bishop of Gloucester (England). You have a place so agreeable & proper as Lady Lemster's(sp?) to go to .... The only objection to it is I hope her Ladyship will allow to be removed, her refusing to take any thing for your board ...What you propose to offer seems to be very fitting & proper, & it is what I hope her Ladyship when you it will accept ..."
