In small part, "The zeal of thine house has eaten thee up, where are the wise men, where are councilors of Israel, are they on the house top or have they fled to the mountains. Call home my people ..."... plus, "Priscilla Hunt Excerise in Philadelphia," 1pp., (incomplete), nd., 8" x 12," VG. In part, "It is not because the Lord has left me that I have been so long silent amongst you - for I have seen a vision. Clothed in the garment of Christ without power .... I saw the feet of the messenger turned another way ..." ...plus, a partial of the same sermon. ...plus, "A Sermon by Priscilla Cadwalader at Concord, Quarterly Meeting, held at Darby, 11th mo. 15th, 1831," 9pp., bound in stationary book, 8" x 12," VG. In part, "Tidings my Lord the king. This is language we may all use but who can tell what those tidings are? ... When will you be prepared to thank God for these deep probations of soul, you will stand as a city set on an hill whose light cannot be hid." Priscilla Hunt Cadwalader (1786-1859) one of the best-known Quaker ministers in the United States between 1820 and 1850.
