Desirable Campaign newspaper titled "The Log Cabin", May 23, 1840, 4pgs, published by Horace Greeley, New York and Albany. The masthead has the classic Harrison cabin with a flag flying above it which reads "Harrison & Tyler". The cover story of this issue is on General Wayne's defeat of the Indians in the Ohio County with illustrations of Old Fort Defiance and Wayne's camp on the Maumee. This political campaign newspaper helped propel Harrison to the White House. Some edge roughness, else fine.
