Johnston" 1p. octavo, Dalton, Georgia, April 8, 1864, addressed to General Hardee, it reads "I think tomorrow would be a favorable day for the ride we have been talking of to look at a position in front. Will you join me about 10 ½ o.c.? I propose it to Genl. Hood also…" Fine.
