QUARLES, William Andrew (1825-1893) was a Tennessee lawyer, politician, railroad executive, and a general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. Document Signed "Wm. A Quarles" 1pp. large folio, February 1, 1860, being a $500 bond for the Memphis, Clarksville, & Louisville Railroad. Fine condition.
