Records indicate that a Captain Daniel Carpenter served during the revolution, apparently from Pennsylvania. Warrants further research. Folds. Fine. Daniel Carpenter, German Pennsylvanian, born 1710. Daniel erected there a substantial dwelling in 1750. Daniel was identified with the colonial militia , and particularly with the expedition on of Colonel Boquet on the latter' s march to Fort Pitt. and the affair at "Bushy Run" in I763
