Include; Phillips Brooks (December 13, 1835 - January 23, 1893) was an American Episcopal clergyman and author, long the Rector of Boston's Trinity Church and briefly Bishop of Massachusetts. He wrote the lyrics of the Christmas hymn, "O Little Town of Bethlehem". Signed Card,5-1/2" x 3", "Phillips Brooks". ...plus John Greenleaf Whittier (December 17, 1807 - September 7, 1892) was an American Quaker poet and advocate of the abolition of slavery in the United States. Frequently listed as one of the fireside poets, he was influenced by the Scottish poet Robert Burns. Whittier is remembered particularly for his anti-slavery writings, as well as his 1866 book Snow-Bound. Signed Card, 5-1/2" x 3", "I am truly thy friend, John G. Whittier, Amesbury, 2nd Mo m15, 1890".
