An most unusual lithograph with a highly stylized Lady Liberty graces the center of this print with vignettes of a battle scene of an infantry charge and most notably a view of the engagement between the Monitor and Merrimac among others. This rare Maryland "Military Record" lists the epic battle of Gettysburg and their participation at the battle of Falling Waters, Maryland during the pursuit of Lee's army on July 14, 1863 as part of their legacy up to the time this "record" was published in 1863.
