Book, Harrisburg, Singerly and Myers, 1864, 108pp plus 3 additional pages. Title page reads, "REPORT OF THE SELECT COMMITTEE RELATIVE TO THE SOLDIER'S NATIONAL CEMETERY, TOGETHER WITH THE ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS, AS REPORTED TO THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMMON WEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, MARCH 31, 1864." Book discloses the plans for establishing the cemetery, lists of soldier's names by state who are buried, lists of items recovered from the bodies, and each of the speeches given at the dedication. Important fold out map showing the grounds of the future cemetery is present. Also present is Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and the Gettysburg Battlefield Map. Cover shows moderate wear, with spine and corners showing heavier wear. Pages are tightly bound together. The book has a 1864 presentation.
