Alfred Howe Terry (1827-1890) was a Union general in the American Civil War. Terry led Union troops to victory at the Second Battle of Fort Fisher in North Carolina. War date clipped signature, "Alfred H. Terry" as Maj. Genl Commd, from the bottom of a Nov. 2, 1864 document.
