Mr. Cantwell during the war aided them in their works of charity towards the Federal prisoners ..."... plus, A partially printed receipt, January 19, 1865, West Point Mills for four hundred bushels of rice, signed on the reverse by Cantwell. ... plus, A petition to Colonel Stewart Woodford detailing Cantwell's loyalty to the Union and requesting the return of his rice. The petition is docketed and details the return of Cantwell's rice.
