c. 1920's, Two Colonial Period Paul Revere Related Wood Souvenirs, Ex: Paul Revere House & North Church, historic American Revolutionary War related artifacts, Choice Extremely Fine. Lot of Two historic Paul Revere related Wood Relic Souvenirs from the Paul Revere House & North Church in Boston, including: 1. Wood from the Paul Revere House, Boston. This wood is a part of the original material of the Paul Revere House built about 1676-7. The wood was salvaged in a restoration project in the 1920's. 2. Wood from Christ Church (old North Church), Boston. This is an actual piece of the historic Old North Church (officially known as Christ Church) famous for "One if by land, Two if by sea" lantern signal instructed by Paul Revere alerting the Colonists that the British Army was crossing the Charles River. This piece of wood was salvaged from the original material when the Church roof was removed and replaced in 1927. Each original wood relic is accompanied with a printed information pamphlet, specific to each item, the first we have offered and certainly rare historic American Revolutionary War related artifacts.
