Legal manuscript document, 8" x 13", 2pp. Columbia April 1, 1863, written by R.S. Dwyer to Col. John Phillips. In part, "I have carefully examined the indexes of the clerk Court of Common Pleas for Charleston District and office City-Court for Charleston now in Columbia for Judgements against M. Cohen and A.I. Salinas for twenty years back and down to the time the said indexes were closed which seems to be about October 1811, and find none unsatisfied against either party. ..."
