3-1/2" x 15", titled "Physic for Traitors!," 8 stanzas, with wood cut engraved image of Jefferson Davis hanging in the gallows. Printed by Quipps and Co. (purveyors of "Comic Miscellany). The obviously incorrect date of 1847 is shown as the year that this piece was "Entered, according to Act of Congress..." The verses are harsh, "Come spin a strong rope for Jeff Davis, and a couple for Yancy and Rhett ... Nor Pickens nor Stephens forget ... Hang old Toomb on a willow and Let Twiggs to an oak be tied ..."
