A very rich content letter, 2pp. 4to., written by Rosalie M. Hall, South Ridge, Ohio, July 31, 1864 giving her niece a raw, heartfelt view over her concern that her husband, Pvt. William R. Hall, Co. G, 2nd Ohio Heavy Artillery would survive the war enabling him to come home.
