Campaign pamphlet, “To The Freemem(n) of West Jersey, 6pp, a campaign piece for Charles D. Hineline who calls himself “a poor man, a friend of Free White Men”. He describes his opponent Isaiah Clawson as “a rich man whose sympathies have always been against Free White Men of New Jersey ... whose ideas run solely in favor of Fee Negroes.” The comparisons continue with Race as the key factor. Clawson ran as a Republican defeating the Democrat Hineline.
