ROBERTSON, Beverly Holcombe (1827-1910) who was known by JEB Stuart as the most troublesome officer in his command. He went on to become the commander of Turner Ashby's cavalry after Ashby was killed. He was later WIA at West Buckhead Church in Georgia. Autograph Note on the verso of his business card "Col. Robt. T. Wood of New Orleans can send you (I presume) the autograph of Dick Taylor and perhaps Sen. Vance - can tell you about Gen. Holmes." Framed with CDV of him. VG
