Autograph Letter Signed, “Laumar Ragland” 2p. quarto, Richmond, Virginia, May 14, 1890, on Baltimore United Oil Company lettersheet, and reads: “...On the 29th of this month the equestrian statue of General Lee will be unveiled an all old Confederates are expected to be present and have a ‘big time.’ You and Ben must not miss it...the 30th which is Memorial day...will be more tahn usually interesting because of the large number of visiting military who will be in the city...all of the old Confederate Generals of note, who are living will be here and it will altogether the biggest celebration since the war, in Richmond....” Fine.
