Cox” 1p. quarto, Richmond, Virginia, at bottom of TLS, 1915, seeking “all surving general officers of the Confederate States Army,” Cox writes: “...I was a Brigadier General of the Army Northern Virginia. In command of Cox’s Brigade, Rhodes Division, my command led the last organised charge at the Surrender & capitulation of Lee’s Army at Appomattox C.H.” With typed biography attached, else Fine.
