A good war-date CDV from Brady's Album Gallery series, entitled: "VIEW OF GLOUCESTER & YORKTOWN, from Farnhold's House, with Battery No. 1 in foreground." Shown is the interior of the heavy armed battery with a coastal gun facing the James River. Published by Barnard & Gibson in 1862. Rounded corners with some spotting, and glue spots affecting the verso, else very good.
