The nation's grief is evident with other headlines reading: AN IMMENSE NUMBER OF CITIZENS VIEW THE REMAINS. THE PREPARATIONS FOR THE FUNERAL. Printed just days after the fallen president's death this newspaper gives a full accounting of events surrounding Lincoln's wake. Headlines on the assassins read: THE ASSASSINS. ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS REWARD FOR THEM. CAPTURE OF ATZEROT. PROBABLE ARREST OF BOOTH. HE IS BELIEVED TO BE THE ASSASSIN OF THE PRESIDENT. INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT BOOTH AND HIS FAMILY.
