Signed original hand drawn political cartoon, by Szep, 15-3/4" x 14". President Reagan, as Santa Clause, has The Secretary of Defense, Casper Weinberger in his lap and reading his Christmas list of Armaments, Pershing Missiles, Trident Missiles and the like. The tax-payer shouts from the side "Psst ... Santa ... Christmas has been over for days". Paul Michael Szep (b July 29, 1941) is a Canadian political cartoonist. He was the chief editorial cartoonist at the Boston Globe from 1967 to 2001 and has been syndicated to hundreds of newspapers worldwide. He won the Pulitzer Prize twice for Editorial Cartooning in 1974 and 1977.
