From the front page, column headline "Palestine Hanging Provokes Clashes" continues on tan interior page and provides the details of the hanging at Acre Prison of Shlomo Ben-Yosef, June 29, 1938. Due to his execution date falling on Rosh Chodesh, no rabbi was available to give him consolation.
