Morgan of the State of Ohio" (this portion is crossed out) "The Republicans Are Responsible for All the Evils Which Affects the Country", and continues "Delivered in the House of Representatives on the 30th day of May 1868". It continues with the signatures of 21 Congressmen and the quantity of the speech ordered. The key signers include: "Geo W. Morgan", fought in the Texas Revolution and the Mexican-American War, and was a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War. ... plus, "Charles Haight" was commissioned a brigadier general of militia on May 27, 1861, and during the American Civil War was in command of Camp Vredenburgh from August 22, 1862, until the close of the war. ... plus "Adam John Glossbrenner" He was Sergeant at Arms of the United States House of Representatives from 1850 to 1860. He served as private secretary to President James Buchanan in 1860 and 1861. ... plus "Michael Crawford Kerr", served as the first Democratic speaker of the United States House of Representatives after the Civil War.... plus, "James Burnie Beck", a White supremacist, he opposed civil rights for African Americans. He was reelected three times as a Representative. And 16 other members.
