Delaware and Pennsylvania land deed, May 1, 1765, 16" x 10," on vellum, broken paper impressed seal attached with ribbon, fine. The land deed is accomplished in calligraphy hand, with bold opening, "Thomas and Richard Penn Esquires true and absolute Proprietors and Governors in Chief of the Provence of Pennsylvania ..." These Penns are the sons of William Penn founder of the Province of Pennsylvania who died 1746.
