1875-Dated American Centennial Period, Lithograph Poster titled, "1776, Centennial International Exhibition, 1876," Philadelphia, Printed by H. Schile, New York, Choice, 1875, Fine. Printed in 1875 this visually exciting Patriotic Lithograph Poster measuring a large 20" x 26" (51 x 66 cm) with central image of the massive main Exhibition building in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. In addition, there are multiple detailed Illustrative Scenes of U.S. History at top and bottom, with emphasis on the recent American Civil War. Bold and bright in choice condition, beautifully printed in rich black with sharp detail on bright heavy poster weight period paper. There are a few trivial fine edge tears neatly repaired on the blank verso. Overall, extremely attractive with excellent eye appeal for display. Very Scarce.
