Political Broadside, 13" x 21",old tape mends yet complete, titled, "Some account of some of the Bloody Deeds of General Jackson." Below that are six coffins and the story behind, in part "A Brief account of the execution of six militia men. As we may soon expect to have the official documents in relation to the SIX MILITIA MEN, arrested, tried, and put to death, under the orders of General Andrew Jackson, this may not be an improper time to give to the public some of the particulars of their execution, as we have them from AN EYE WITNESS ", who appeals to Col Russell, for the truth of every word he relates. ... Six coffins were ranged as directed, and on each of them knelt one of our condemned American Militia Men-Such a sight was never seen before! I trust to God it never will be seen again! Six soldiers were detailed and drawn up to fire at each man. What an awful duty!...."
