\Excellent condition New Jersey Civil War service medal numbered #3423. Traces to Job Heritage who mustered into "C" Co. NJ 9th Infantry, 9/20/186 . He deserted on 7/1/1862. n 5/31/1863 he returned into "C" Co. NJ 9th Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 12/8/1864 at Trenton, NJ, 1-1/2" x 2-1/2", fine
