Huge 5.5" Tall Bust Housed In Its Original Shadow Box Exceedingly rare, largest size Macerated United States Currency Notes formed into a Bust of Abraham Lincoln we have seen being an impressive 5.5" tall x 3.5" wide. A period handwritten tag below the Lincoln Bust in the shadow box reads, "$5,000. - Paper Money - Macerated at - Wash. DC". Nicely housed under glass to an overall size of 8" x 6.25" x 2" with the early New York framer's tag still attached on the back. This piece is wonderful in detail, and is ready for hanging on display. The only example of this extremely large size and type we have offered. Fine condition.
