Cabinet Card photograph of The Wild Bunch which depicts the five notorious outlaws - From left to right: Sundance Kid, Will Carver, Ben Kilpatrick, Harvey Logan and Butch Cassidy. This cabinet card photograph is a period-cop of the original 7 1/16" x 9", mount size 7 5/8" x 9 1/4". Swartz, FORT WORTH, TEX. photographer’s imprint on front of image lower left. That original recently sold in the Robert McCubbin Collection auction 2019 for $118,000. THE original photograph that was discovered by a police detective at the Swartz Photography Studio in Fort Worth, which was subsequently obtained by the Pinkertons. The Pinkertons had copies produced of each individual bandit for distribution to other police agencies. It is very likely that this period copy of that original was also produced by the Prinkertons. The Pinkerton offices were in Chicago.
