Part of the rarest of early photography assemblages in American History is this Civil War era CDV showing Revolutionary War veteran William Hutchings, Aged 100, who was born in York, Maine, 1764, and served with the Coastal Defense, Massachusetts Militia, Captain Benjamin Lemmings Co. 1780-1781, during the siege of the coastline of Maine, and was taken prisoner of war. N.A. & R.A. Moore backmark. Very good condition.
