Twenty-Seven complete and authentic issues of the Boston Gazette. Commercial and Political, each four pages. The 27 issues remain bound together. The date range is, Issue No.1, Vol XI, September 3, 1801 through Issue No. 27, Vol XI, December 3, 1801. The newspapers cover local, national and international news. Several issues fill the complete front page with “Wholesale Prices Current” providing dozens of commodities prices. There are letters signed in type by President Jefferson. Dozens of foriegn military reports, such as The Court of the King’s Bench. A public letter to the honorable John Adams esq. Surrender of Cariro to the English. The issues are printed on rag paper, only occasional spotting, clean and loaded with the news of the day.
