Forest H. Sweet, Battle Creek, Michigan, was a pioneer in Autograph Collecting in the early-mid 1900s. He published the book, "Directory of Collectors of Books, Autographs, Prints and Other Historical Material Relating to Abraham Lincoln", 1943. Sold his a major part of his War of 1812 collection to Indiana University, 1943. Georgetown holds his catalogs from 1940-49.
