Large color puzzle, 16" x 21" sight, in frame, "Judge Alton B. Parker, The Democratic Candidate for President of the United States", issued by Hearst Boston Sunday American, Sunday Oct. 2, 1904. William Randolph Hearst ran an energetic campaign for the 1904 Democratic nomination on a Progressive platform. He was defeated by Parker for the nomination. Alton Brooks Parker (1852-1926) was an American judge, best known as the Democrat who lost the presidential election of 1904 to Theodore Roosevelt.
