Autograph Document Signed, “Seth Pope” 1p. quarto, March 9, 1720/21, Dartmouth, Massachusetts, where “Elkena Shoarman...hath made complaint...that Jeremiah Elisha an Indian man...stuck the motheer of sd Shoarman an aged woman on the head so she can neither stand nor go but her life seems to be in danger by sd. blow she received from sd Jeremiah Elisha...” He also broke the door and windows and called Shoarman a dog. Fine.
